As an Aerospace Engineer at Poseidon Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing aircraft structures and aerodynamic systems. You will leverage CFD and FEA to predict performance, enhance efficiency, and ensure structural integrity. Responsibilities Conduct CFD simulations to analyze aerodynamic performance, including lift, drag, stability, and control characteristics. Perform FEA to assess structural integrity, stress distribution, and material performance under various loading conditions. Integrate aerodynamic and structural insights into the design process, providing practical and performance-oriented solutions. Develop, validate, and optimize aircraft components using simulation tools and data-driven methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design efficiency, safety, and manufacturability. Analyze and interpret simulation results to make data-driven design decisions and improvements. Support the prototyping, testing, and validation phases by correlating simulation data with real-world performance. Ideal Qualifications Proven experience in applying CFD and FEA to aircraft design and analysis. Proficiency with software such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or similar for CFD; and Abaqus, NASTRAN, or similar for FEA. Strong understanding of aerodynamic principles, structural analysis, and material behavior under flight conditions. Experience integrating simulation results into practical engineering solutions for aircraft. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, contributing to both conceptual and detailed design stages.
