Art Teacher

Our Art Teacher introduces students in grades K–8 to a variety of artistic techniques while encouraging imagination, confidence, and self-expression. In our classrooms, art is a place of joy, beauty, and growth—where students are supported, challenged, and celebrated.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging, hands-on art lessons for students in grades K–8, once per week, preferably Mondays and Thursdays.
• Help students explore different media and styles while developing their skills
• Create a warm, welcoming, and well-managed classroom environment
• Celebrate student work through displays, projects, and school events
• Partner with teachers and administrators to support our school community
• Joyfully support and model the values and mission of Catholic education

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field
• Experience working with children preferred
• A love for teaching, creativity, and nurturing young artists
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A teacher who supports Catholic values
• Willingness to complete background checks and Safe Environment training
