JOB SUMMARY: As the Assistant Supervisor of Cultural Arts, you will primarily be responsible for budgeting, planning, developing, implementing, organizing, promoting, and evaluating multiple theater productions each year. Other programs you will supervise include but are not limited to overseeing our multicultural event and prairie arts fest. The Assistant Supervisor of Cultural Arts also collaborates with community groups, schools, and other organizations to promote awareness and advance art initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS: The best applicants will have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Education, Parks & Recreation, Business Administration or another related field, and at least three (3) years of related experience. Successful candidates must be enthusiastic about theater, music, fine arts, cultural heritage, and cultural diversity.
PAY, BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time year-round exempt position. Target hiring range is from $53,000 - $60,000 per year DOQ (depending on qualifications). Work schedule is generally Monday through Friday 8:30am 5pm, with occasional nights and weekend as may be required. Our full-time benefits package includes:
