About the Role:

We are looking for an entry level valuation specialist who will assist with the development of sophisticated valuation analyses, using thorough and professionally written appraisal reports. We are a legacy company with a great opportunity for learning, development and career opportunities. The role will be reporting to the DFW/Southlake office.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying, researching, and analyzing economic issues and industry trends.
• Gathering, input, and analysis of financial, economic, and accounting data.
• Preparing financial and quantitative models.
• Drafting reports, white papers, trial exhibits, and presentation materials.
• Developing valuation and financial models, written reports, and presentations relating to businesses and business interests across various industries
• Building valuation and financial models, written reports, and presentations relating to businesses and business interests across various industries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or in a related field (an advanced degree is a plus) – recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Strong market research and financial modeling skills (familiarity with Black Scholes and Monte Carlo simulations is a plus)
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (primarily with Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to manage large datasets with precision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex topics
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy

• Candidate for or intending to pursue professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ASA, ABV, CFF, or CVA
• Familiarity with financial and economic tools, such as S&P Capital IQ, Federal Reserve, DealStats, Thomson Reuters Eikon, Federal Reserve, and Bloomberg, preferred
