General Job Summary: Perform contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for contract correspondence, organization of contract records, and timely submittal of contract documentation.
• Acts as Gichner Shelter Systems agent in signing contract within set dollar limitations.
• Communicate contractual requirements to the internal functional team.
• Acts as facilitator in internal and external meetings.
• Directs invoicing of contract data items and milestone billings.
• Responsible for contract close-out.
• Initiates warranties and claims investigation.
• Provides support to Contract Managers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Experience:

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
• Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.
• Ability to adhere to workplace rules.
• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 Year college/University degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of related experience required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements: Office environment. Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones). Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
