Position Summary:

We're looking for a dependable and hard-working Building Materials Delivery Helper to join our team in Troy, VA. In this role, you'll assist our truck drivers with loading and delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites.

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading materials safely and accurately.
• Deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites.
• Greet and assist customers in the warehouse as needed, following established procedures:
  • Verify customer sales invoices before releasing any material.
  • Load and unload products in the warehouse.
  • Receive and process returned merchandise.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Dispatcher, or Management.

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
  

• Lift up to 100 lbs to a height of 6 feet.
• Carry up to 100 lbs over 12+ feet.
• Push up to 100 lbs in a wheeled cart.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and reach overhead regularly.
• Stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
• Work with mechanical equipment daily.
