Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Refrigeration Technician/Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Food Production industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and cooling systems crucial for food storage and processing. Your expertise will ensure that our facilities operate at optimal efficiency, adhering to all safety and health regulations. You will work closely with our production teams to minimize downtime and ensure that all refrigeration units are working effectively to preserve product quality. As a vital member of our operations team, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment while supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in refrigeration systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities

· Install, service, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.

· Perform routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.

· Diagnose and repair malfunctions in refrigeration and cooling systems.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for refrigeration equipment.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed.

· Collaborate with production teams to address cooling requirements for food storage and processing.

· Provide exceptional service and support to internal teams regarding refrigeration issues.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a refrigeration technician in a commercial or industrial setting.

· Strong knowledge of Refrigeration systems, components, and technology servicing and troubleshooting these types of systems

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

· Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance standards.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls.

· Knowledge of the use of the tools specific to the trade

· Knowledge of essential electrical and mechanical components for installing, dismantling and repairing equipment

· Able to read, understand, and wok from specifications, schematics, diagrams of the equipment and tech support.

· Able to meet the physical demands generally required to perform their duties in this trade environment. This includes, but is not limited to, being able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, reach, push, pull, twist, work in narrow spaces, and move freely in the performances of the position, etc.
