Position Summary:

The Commercial Roofing Superintendent oversees and coordinates the daily operations of commercial roofing projects. This role ensures that all work is performed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent supervises crews, manages materials and equipment, and acts as the main on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily field operations for commercial roofing projects, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Built-Up roofing systems.
• Ensure all work is performed according to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Manage and coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, and site logistics.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Ensure timely delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate regularly with project managers regarding progress, issues, and resource needs.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and industry standards.
• Maintain daily reports, job logs, and site documentation.
• Resolve on-site issues or delays in coordination with the project team.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and project closeouts.
• Train and mentor crew members as needed.
• Perform small repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Work Conditions:

• Frequently works outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at heights.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Travel to job sites within the region may be required.
