ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize , a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Construction Laborer to support our construction group in Raynham, MA. This role involves daily travel throughout Raynham, MA working on various Mass DOT highway projects.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Assist with a wide range of physical tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, loading, and unloading materials
  • Perform general labor duties such as site clean-up, debris removal, and basic demolition
  • Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, masons, and equipment operators as needed
  • Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and distribute construction materials to appropriate locations on-site
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Travel Requirements: Daily Travel Required
  • Reliable transportation is required due to daily travel across Raynham and surrounding areas
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Must be willing to become a member of the New England Laborer's Union
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to carry out verbal or written directions accurately.
  • Understanding and application of workplace safety rules and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to work well with others in a team setting, maintain a positive attitude, and communicate effectively.
  • Reliable and Punctual Work Ethic: Consistent attendance, dependable performance, and a willingness to work flexible hours or overtime.
  • Basic Knowledge of Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with hand and power tools; ability to safely operate and maintain them as needed.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
