Job Description Corporate Field Services Technician

Location: Painted Post, NY (Onsite)

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8 AM5 PM

Assignment Length: 6 months (possible extension)

Max Pay Rate: $22/hour on W2 without benefit

Overview:

The Corporate Field Services Technician will provide onsite and occasional remote technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and infrastructure across the Corning Valley. The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service, and experience supporting Windows 11 environments. The technician will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and ensure all tasks adhere to established processes and service-level expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications
• Administer Active Directory accounts, permissions, and security groups
• Support corporate mobile devices and cloud applications (Office365)
• Troubleshoot Cisco VPN and Citrix connectivity issues
• Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and documentation
• Support browser-related issues (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
• Install/configure Adobe applications and Check Point endpoint protection
• Manage hardware assets, deploy IP phones, and assist with printer/driver troubleshooting
• Perform device imaging (USB/PXE) , equipment moves, and Smart-Hands tasks
• Participate in documentation updates, knowledge-base usage, and cross-team technical discussions

Additional Duties:

• Schedule customer appointments and follow up on open requests
• Support small projects and collaborate with multiple teams
• Provide support at nearby sites as needed, including occasional event support

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on hardware experience (beyond imaging)
• Strong understanding of Windows OS deployment, especially Windows 11
• Basic PowerShell/Command Prompt proficiency
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain high customer service standards

Education:

• Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required

Certifications:

• CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Server+, Mobility+, Cloud+
