Job Description

District Manager (Sales/Business Development - San Francisco based) Biote Medical is the world leader in hormone optimization, partnering with providers to promote healthier aging through patient-specific bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and a specialized nutraceutical line supporting hormone health. This remote, field-based position supports our San Francisco Bay Area territory. We seek a passionate individual eager to influence healthcare positively, working within a dynamic sales team. Applicants must reside in the SF Bay Area. Position and Scope: The role involves recruiting qualified physicians and practitioners into partnerships with Biote to offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and healthy aging solutions. Responsibilities include relationship and practice development, sales activities such as prospecting, cold calling, attending tradeshows and sales events, and providing technical and educational support to providers. Daily Responsibilities: Gain comprehensive knowledge of hormone replacement therapy through provided and external materials. Train physicians, staff, and patients on Biote’s protocols, marketing, financial aspects, therapy options, forms, seminars, and online resources. Interpret medical and scientific studies effectively. Research and evaluate physicians based on Biote’s criteria. Present Biote’s programs to healthcare providers and staff. Recruit practitioners via professional prospecting and presentation skills. Cultivate partnerships to grow practices and maintain patient retention of 60% or higher. Handle contracts, paperwork, and payments for training and certification. Lead patient educational seminars monthly. Assist with practice development activities like email marketing and social media. Identify new leads, attend marketing and sales events, and manage sales activities in CRM. Close sales to meet targets and respond promptly to communications. Perform other duties as needed. Candidate Background: Strong communication, client management, and interpersonal skills. 3-5 years B2B sales experience, preferably in medical device, diagnostics, or biotech sectors. Effective work ethic and time management. Ability to deliver persuasive presentations to healthcare professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time. Availability for 40-50 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with home office setup and reliable internet. Valid driver’s license with a good record.
