The School Administrator serves as the chief operational and instructional leader of Leilani Star Learning Academy. This role is responsible for shaping a school culture that reflects the academy’s mission—to ensure that all scholars, regardless of ability, are nurtured, loved, and empowered to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. The administrator leads with compassion, vision, and a commitment to inclusive education and staff collaboration.

Core Responsibilities:

Leadership & Vision

• Uphold and advance the school’s mission, vision, and core values in all decision-making and communication.

• Create and implement long-term goals for academic excellence, inclusion, and holistic child development.

• Cultivate a school culture grounded in love, faith, and celebration of diversity.

Instructional Oversight

• Supervise the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional practices.

• Ensure fidelity to inclusive teaching strategies, sensory supports, and trauma-informed care.

• Lead instructional team meetings and data reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Staff Supervision & Development

• Recruit, hire, and retain staff who align with the academy’s mission and values.

• Conduct formal staff evaluations and provide consistent coaching, feedback, and support.

• Foster a professional culture of collaboration, high expectations, and reflective practice.

Family & Community Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with families rooted in trust, love, and transparency.

• Represent the school in community partnerships, outreach efforts, and public events.

• Ensure clear communication through newsletters, meetings, and direct contact with stakeholders.

Operations & Compliance

• Oversee daily school operations including scheduling, staffing, safety, and building maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing, student records, and special education services.

• Manage the school budget in alignment with strategic priorities and ethical stewardship.

We provide speech therapy, behavior , and a cognitive development curriculum for each scholar. By teaching through the fruit of the spirit . Being LOVE the main ingredient.

To ensure all scholars differences are not a hinderance to their ability to grown and learn. While building a strong educational foundation. By Bringing all the pieces together.
