In our one-on-one ABA settings, you'll work directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years, utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. You'll have exceptional supervision, ongoing training, and a passionate team at your side to ensure you make a real difference every day!

As a Behavior Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and applying feedback from your supervisor.
• Encouraging the development of young children through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
• Collaborating with your team to maximize treatment effectiveness, safety, and a joyful working atmosphere throughout the center.
• Engaging with children through play, movement, and imitation—be it through running, dancing, singing, reading, or playing with toys—while maintaining a lively and cheerful environment.
• Communicating effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for necessary support.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move with children in a fast-paced setting, which includes lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving swiftly on the ground to engage with young children and maintain safety.
• Maintaining a therapy-friendly environment that is tidy, organized, and conducive to an engaging experience for children.
• Multitasking effectively to handle various actions, decisions, or conversations while prioritizing safety for all involved.
• Working cohesively as a team across centers, possibly including travel to nearby locations to offer support when necessary.
• A reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
• You must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

You will complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands-on competency assessment, registering for the exam, and passing the board's exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

• Associates/High School: $15.00 - $22.50
• Bachelors: $15.00 - $24.00
• Masters: $16.00 - $26.00

For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon obtaining RBT certification, typically within 21 days.

Preferred Experience:

• Childcare (e.g., nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor)
• Mental health professionals and advocates (e.g., QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
• Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
• Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields (any degree is valid)
• Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants
• Passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Enthusiasm for joining a caring, team-oriented culture
