Estate Planning Associate Attorney – Growth-Focused Wealth Practice | Washington, D.C.
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join its expanding Private Wealth Planning group in Washington, D.C. This role is ideal for attorneys with 3+ years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate, looking to grow within a collaborative and sophisticated environment.

As an Estate Planning Associate Attorney, you'll advise high-net-worth individuals and families, draft advanced planning instruments, and work directly with trustees, fiduciaries, and business owners. You'll benefit from hands-on mentorship, cross-office collaboration, and exposure to some of the most complex wealth transfer strategies in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft core and advanced estate planning documents, including:
o Revocable and irrevocable trusts
o Charitable and grantor trusts
o Insurance trusts, LLCs, FLPs, and property agreements
• Advise clients on estate tax minimization and multi-generational transfers
• Represent clients in probate, trust administration, and fiduciary disputes
• Prepare estate and gift tax returns and support post-mortem planning
• Counsel business owners on succession strategies and entity formation
• Work with colleagues across offices on high-value planning matters

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of estate planning and trust administration experience
• JD from an accredited U.S. law school; LL.M. in Tax or Estate Planning a plus
• Active D.C. Bar membership (required); additional regional bars a bonus
• Exceptional drafting, research, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently and as part of a team
