We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to oversee and execute high-impact events in San Francisco, California. This is a 6-9 month contract position ideal for a creative and organized individual with expertise in community engagement and event planning. The role involves both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, ensuring seamless coordination and successful outcomes for a variety of events.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute community-focused events, including galas and other high-profile gatherings.

• Develop innovative strategies to enhance event engagement and ensure participants have memorable experiences.

• Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to achieve project goals within constraints.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth event operations and alignment with objectives.

• Analyze event data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize future event planning.

• Maintain strong relationships with community members and organizations to foster collaboration and build networks.

• Supervise event staff and volunteers, ensuring roles are clearly defined and tasks are completed effectively.

• Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety guidelines during event execution.

• Create detailed post-event reports to evaluate success and provide insights for future planning.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, including planning and executing large-scale events.
• Proven expertise in community engagement and building relationships with diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in analyzing event data and using insights for strategic decision-making.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting ideas.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining professionalism.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management for events.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to event planning.
