Position Title: Executive & HR Assistant

Location: Troy, MI

Salary: $65,000 annually

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Company Match, Paid Holidays, 2 Floating Holidays, Paid Time Off – all available following a 90-day probationary period.

Position Overview

AH Group is seeking a highly organized and dependable Executive & HR Assistant to support both our CEO and Chief of Staff/Global HR Manager and leadership team in a combination of HR-related and administrative functions. This is a key support role within the organization that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with core HR processes, maintaining employee documentation, coordinating office operations, and supporting executive-level administrative needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within a company that values integrity, efficiency, and strong interpersonal relationships. 70% Executive Assistant/30% HR Administrative work

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Executive Support (70%)

  • Provide administrative assistance, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting preparation.
  • Open and distribute mail, scan documents, and manage office filing systems
  • Order and maintain office supplies; serve as the point of contact for office-related needs
  • Assist with internal meetings, including preparation of agendas, materials, and notes

Human Resources Support (30%)

  • Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of personnel records
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Maintain and organize confidential HR files in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Contribute to internal HR initiatives such as employee engagement, recognition, and communications

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in office administration, executive support, and human resources work

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
