Job Description

Overview Executive Assistant to CRO, Commercial based in San Clemente, CA. Reports to the CRO, Commercial. This is a full-time role within Sonance. The Opportunity Partner with our Chief Revenue Officer as a strategic force-multiplier who transforms executive productivity into revenue acceleration. This role transcends traditional administrative support; you’ll operate as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and execution catalyst. Key Responsibilities Strategic Calendar Architecture: design and defend the CRO\'s schedule as a strategic asset aligned to revenue priorities; build protective boundaries around deep work while ensuring accessibility for critical stakeholders; orchestrate meeting cadences that drive business momentum and team alignment Execution & Accountability Engine: track the CRO\'s commitments, chase down open items with team members, escalate blockers when needed, and transform decisions into completed actions Communications Command Center: triage and organize inboxes, draft responses for routine matters, recommend actions for review, and progressively handle communications independently (targeting 60%+ within 12 months); filter noise while surfacing critical issues for the CRO Meeting Excellence: prepare comprehensive agendas, briefing materials, and talking points; ensure meetings are productive with clear outcomes and documented follow-ups; anticipate information needs; transform executive content into polished presentations with consistent branding Travel & Event Strategy: plan and coordinate travel aligned with revenue objectives; build purposeful meetings around trips; manage logistics and run-of-show documents; oversee event budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, vendor negotiations, and financial reporting Team Operations & Rhythm: architect and maintain the operating cadence for the revenue organization; drive preparation and follow-through for strategic sessions; foster alignment across direct reports and cross-functional partners; demonstrate high EQ and act as a trusted partner Technology, Tools & AI Mastery: use Salesforce, Teams, and productivity platforms; manage tasks/projects with tools like Microsoft Project Planner or Asana; handle expense management and coordinate with Finance; develop executive-ready reports; leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows Confidentiality & Trust: manage sensitive information with discretion; balance confidentiality with transparency; make judgment calls on what to share Ideal Candidate Profile Experience & Skills 5+ years partnering with C-level executives in scaling organizations Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and modern productivity platforms Advanced proficiency with Apple ecosystem and Microsoft Office Suite Advanced presentation design capabilities in Keynote and PowerPoint with visual storytelling Forward-thinking approach to AI and automation tools Exceptional written and verbal communication with executive presence Critical Attributes Anticipatory mindset — solves problems before they arise Relentless follow-through — ensures commitments are met Unshakeable discretion — manages sensitive information with integrity Grace under pressure — maintains calm and urgency Business acumen — links tasks to revenue and impact Direct communication — provides clear recommendations and drives work forward Success Metrics 30 Days: complete onboarding, master core systems, establish rhythm with CRO 90 Days: own calendar management, handle routine communications, build trusted relationships 180 Days: operate as strategic partner, anticipate needs; CRO spends more time on strategic initiatives 12 Months: recognized as indispensable force-multiplier; CRO operates at peak effectiveness Location & Availability Based in San Clemente with primary in-office presence Flexible to match CRO\'s schedule including occasional early/late hours Limited hybrid flexibility after ramp period Travel about 15% will be required Why This Role Matters You will amplify the CRO\'s impact on a growing organization.
