Job Title: Associate Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay - $16/hr

Job Summary:

The PCC is responsible for patient telephonic outreach, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and follow-up appointments to support the Practice Support Unit (PSU). The primary focus is scheduling patients for comprehensive annual screening visits.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct telephonic outreach to schedule annual screenings.
• Verify demographic and insurance information.
• Provide timely appointment reminders and reschedule as needed.
• Use telephonic software for outreach and inbound calls.
• Follow approved call scripts.
• Support PSU providers with follow-up appointment scheduling.
• Address patient messages and concerns, ensuring follow-up within 48 hours.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, employees, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• 1-2 years of related work experience.
• ICD 10 and CPT coding experience.
• Experience with EMR applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
