SPY+ is looking for a creative, motivated and results-driven individual to intern, on a part-time basis, with our marketing team. This person will play an active role across a myriad of marketing endeavors. This opportunity will give you a broad stroke on several marketing channels and will serve as an integral part to making that “next step” in your marketing career. Positivity and a “go for it” mentality is a must. A passion for action sports or the culture and style is always a plus for this position.

This position is based at our Carlsbad, California headquarters and will work no more than 20 hours a week.

Job responsibilities (including, but not limited to, the following):

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the creation of content for social and digital platforms.
• Optimize product listing for B2B platform.
• Assist in asset organization of the Digital Asset Management platform.
• Organize seasonal samples and ship seasonal sample kit to influencers and Change Agents.
• Research potential brand affiliate and partnerships specifically to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
• Get creative, help write snappy copy for website, blog, and our digital marketing channels including.
• Attend marketing events (surf, snow, moto, music) when possible as staff member for brand activations.
• Assist in developing/ organizing and shipping PR needs and Line Launch kits.
• Be a continual beacon of stoke for the brand. Share the culture within and outside the brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited College or University.
• Must be located in Southern California
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Natural knack for words, experience writing ad copy a plus.
• Experience with content development, social, photography, filming or editing in any capacity is a plus.
• Highly detail oriented with a professional can-do attitude.
• Quick learner that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
