We're growing and looking for a talented Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) with a passion for pediatric care to join our team!

Position Summary
As a Pediatric EFDA, you'll play a vital role in supporting our doctors and caring for our young patients. You will be instrumental in helping children feel at ease during treatment, assisting with a variety of procedures, and ensuring our clinical spaces run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during a wide range of procedures, including sealants, fillings, crowns, and space maintainers
• Take digital X-rays and impressions as needed
• Provide clear communication and education to parents/guardians regarding home care and treatment plans
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
• Comfort and guide anxious or nervous children with patience and compassion
• Accurately chart and input treatment notes using dental software
• Keep clinical rooms clean, stocked, and organized

What We're Looking For

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification - Required
• Radiology Certification - Required
• 1+ year of experience in a pediatric or general dental setting preferred
• Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
• Ability to stay calm, positive, and patient in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Open Dental experience is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification
