Athens, TN | Procurement Analyst | Full-time

We are actively recruiting a Procurement Analyst for our client in Athens, TN. This is a direct placement opportunity that will require working onsite in Athens. The successful candidate will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods. This role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, and strong leadership capabilities to guide teams and manage vendor relationships effectively. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with broader organizational goals.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics while identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Foster relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM) are a plus.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or operations leadership roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, manage teams, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in managing global supply chains or working with international vendors.
• Understanding of sustainability practices within supply chain processes.
