Exciting Opportunity in the Riverdale, IL area: School-Based Occupational Therapist OT

PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We' re currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist ($62-85K per year) in the Riverdale, IL area.

Qualifications:

• MS-OT Degree or higher
• IL license or eligible
• Previous experience working with kids in a school or medical setting, fieldwork counts
• New grads welcomed to apply

Position Details:

• Schedule: full-time
• Dates: school year August-May
• Hours: approximately 8a-3p daily based on the school calendar
• Setting: school
• Caseload: to be discussed at interview
• In-person only
• New grads welcomed to apply
• Work-life balance, no weekend sessions, no late nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop comprehensive IEPs for students in a school setting
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy
• Supervise OTA-level providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to improve student outcomes holistically.
