Pay Range: $80.00 - $89.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to lead our system modernization efforts, transforming legacy systems with high-performance Python and introducing more standard, maintainable solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing service quality to meet Tier-2 standards and in developing innovative features using advanced data sources. This role involves significant work in data migration, from AWS RDS to a more robust data store, ensuring our data strategy supports scalability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Rewrite key services from Scala to Python, adopting high-performance and standardized methodologies.
• Migrate existing databases from AWS RDS to an optimized data storage strategy.
• Ensure all services meet Tier-2 standards for reliability, robustness, and observability.
• Develop and implement advanced features using GraphQL and clickstream data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align modernization efforts with overall business objectives.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in both Scala and Python.
• Experience with GraphQL and web services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Preferred Domain Experience:

• Experience in system modernization projects, ideally within a technology or financial services domain.
