Position Tittle: Sr. Software Engineer (153842-1)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Primary Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX

Work Mode: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2remote

Years of Experience: 10+ years applicable experience required overall

Industry Background: Banking or Finance

Roles and Responsibilities:

Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.

Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.

Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system.

Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.

Must have technical skills (Min 8+yrs of exp required in all of the below skills)

Informatica

ETL

Agile

Detail-oriented

Oracle (creating and modifying tables)

SQL (writing SQL queries)

OBIEE pull and create reports (work with product owners and business owners to build out dashboards)

JIRA

Oracle (Backend)

SQL (Backend) Data warehousing

Hadoop

Tableau

Degrees/Certifications:

Bachelors degree computer or equivalent work experience required.

Industry certifications would be nice to have
