Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Solutions Architect to lead our Applied and Agentic AI initiatives across Technology Segment customers, including ISV, Enterprise, Sofware & Internet, and Model Providers. As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of AWS's AI/ML customer strategy, working with AWS technologies including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and emerging agentic AI frameworks. You will partner with executive leadership, product teams, and field organizations to accelerate customer adoption of generative AI and autonomous agent systems. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for AWS Segments agentic strategy, spanning multiple product families and serving thousands of customers • \tLead design and evolution of agent-enabled applications and cross-product integrations internally and externally • \tWork with product teams to define multi-year technical roadmaps aligning with emerging AI/ML technologies • \tProvide technical oversight across multiple teams • \tInfluence technical decisions through participation in senior leadership forums • \tArchitect solutions combining AI agents, cloud services, and domain-specific APIs BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • \t15+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of enterprise applications • \t Proven track record of leading large-scale technical initiatives across multiple product lines • \tStrong background in AI/ML systems and their practical applications in software • \tExcellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership and shape product strategy • \tTrack record of mentoring and developing senior technical talent • 5+ years working within or adjacent to Software-as-a-Service companies • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies • Modern cloud platform skills • Computer Science / relevant degree and/or experience highly desired PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • \tExperience with enterprise software systems or AI-driven automation • \tBackground in natural language processing or conversational AI • \tPublished research or patents in relevant technical areas • \tExperience with autonomous systems or robotic process automation • \tDeep understanding of API design and microservices architecture • \tComprehensive knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture • \tMaster's or PhD in Computer Science or related field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $219,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $341,200/year in our highest geographic market.
