Lead Surgical Scheduler Fairfax, VA Pay From: $28 per hour MUST: The Lead Surgical Scheduler should have the following: 10+ years of experience as a surgical scheduler in a busy surgical practice site 3 recent years of experience leading, training and managing surgical schedulers Experience scheduling for hospital and surgery sites Must have Surgical Scheduling Ophthalmology experience Triaging phone calls Providing patient education and reviewing upcoming procedures with patients Ensure accuracy of surgical scheduler Experience with Microsoft Outlook Bachelor's or Associates Degree DUTIES: The Lead Surgical Scheduler will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Oversee, train and manage surgical schedulers Schedule procedures for various hospitals and surgery sites Review schedule for no shows Ensure patients surgical packets are correct and complete Float to other office sites if needed Ensure accuracy of surgical schedule Schedule and post procedures for various hospital sites Review schedules for cancellations/No show appointments Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
