Pride Health is hiring Sterile Processing Technician to support our client's hospital facility in Aurora, CO 80045 . This is 3 months of contract role with the possibility of extension.

**Open to both locals and travellers. **

Information:

Location: Aurora, CO 80045

Duration: 3 months, Contract with possible extension

Shift Time: 8-hour Evenings, 11:00 AM-7:30 

Guaranteed hours : 40 hours

Pay Range (Local): $26 - 33/hour (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.)

Travel Pay Package: $1600/Week for 40 hours (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education. )

Job Summary:

• This position is responsible to ensure that all surgical instrument sets and equipment are properly maintained.
• Responsible for tracking lost and broken instrumentation and maintenance of digital records of instrumentation in Instrument Tracking System software.
• Performs weekly missing instrument audit reports.
• Ensures that these responsibilities are carried out according to established directions designated in procedure manual.
• Functions as a team member, supporting department activities providing for optimal instrument and equipment processing.
• Functions as a patient advocate. Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.

Required:

• Education: High school graduate or GED.

• Required Experience : Paediatrics and Endoscope reprocessing, level-1 trauma 

• Required Certifications & Licensure: BLS and CRCST or CBSPD
