VP of Finance/Chief Financial Officer *VP of Finance/CFO*

We are currently seeking a senior, Experienced VP of Finance/CFO for a growing construction and environmental services company, for a role leading the financial operations of the company, overseeing all financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in financial management, capable of driving the company's financial strategy and ensuring regulatory compliance while maximizing profitability.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
* Conduct financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost reduction and investment strategies.
* Manage risk through effective financial modeling and scenario analysis, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and oversee financial reporting to stakeholders.
* Lead the treasury management function, focusing on cash flow management and investment strategies.
* Drive mergers and acquisitions initiatives, including due diligence and integration processes.
* Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Foster a high-performing finance team through strong leadership and team management practices, promoting professional development and collaboration.
*Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* CPA certification required.
* Proven experience as a CFO or VP of Finance in a similar industry, preferably in construction or environmental services.
* Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
* Experience with FP&A, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.
* Demonstrated ability in managing complex financial projects and leading teams effectively.
* Expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management.
* Experience with private equity, VC funding, and investment strategies.
