Responsibilities for a Part-Time Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to: + Assist with essential shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. + Accurately read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items for movement or distribution. + Ensure the warehouse environment is accessible and safe for both employee and customer traffic by adhering to all safety policies and procedures. + Complete check calls from drivers to ensure loads will deliver on time and validate all load data for accounting purposes. Candidates for Part-Time Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered: + The ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and the ability to safely load and unload trucks. + Availability to work the required evening PM shift, Monday - Saturday, typically 7:30 pm - 12:30 am, with flexibility for longer shifts and possible Sunday coverage. + The ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. + Basic written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills are necessary for daily tasks.
