Join our growing team! We have Yard Driver positions starting at a large distribution center in Suffolk, VA. NO CDL REQUIRED! We offer weekly pay, paid and a career path with advancement opportunities!  Must have 1 year of warehouse experience to be considered.

SHIFTS:

• Friday-Sunday, 6am-6:30pm ($19.28 per hour)

Job Responsibilities

• As a yard driver, you will work in the truck yard to organize tractor-trailers and ensure trailers are shifted on and off the dock. CDL is not required, BUT a plus!
• Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours, reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout the duration of your shift
• Effective communication skills and team work
• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
• Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
• Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
• Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
• Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
• Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment

• Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.28 - $19.28 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer medical, dental, vision, life, and more.
