Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Fire & Security Sales Consultant to help expand our footprint in the market. In this role, you will generate new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and offer customized security solutions that protect people, property, and assets. Whether you're an experienced industry sales rep or a talented outside sales professional ready to transition into the security space, we provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new commercial, industrial, and retail prospects through cold calling, networking, and field visits
  • Follow up on qualified leads provided by the company and develop self-generated opportunities
  • Conduct on-site consultations, assess customer needs, and design tailored security solutions
  • Present and sell a full suite of products including CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and monitoring services
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product features, pricing, and industry trends
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through excellent service and follow-up
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional sales or technical training is a plus
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (security industry preferred, but not required)
  • Proven ability to develop and close business in a competitive B2B environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable prospecting in person, over the phone, and via digital channels
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed to meet business demands. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support time-sensitive procurement activities or vendor engagements.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • All duties must be performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Compensation 

$95,000 - $125,000 OTE (base + commissions)
