Job Description
Fire Hole Watch Attendant responsibilities are to :
1) Work outside of confined spaces to monitor and protect other personnel performing work in high-risk environments and may also be working from heights such as standing or observing from scaffolding;
2) Regularly inspect work area;
3) Keep records of any potentially hazardous conditions and keep accurate written log of occupants inside the confined space;
4) Activating appropriate alarms and promptly contacting emergency response personnel as necessary.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements : Sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, stay alert and follow all safety protocol, bend, twist, reach, squat, push and pull.
